About the Savannah Jazz Festival

Presented by the nonprofit Savannah Jazz, this free public event has brought legendary performances to Savannah since 1981.  The 2025 festival runs September 19–21, with concerts by world-renowned artists, regional standouts, and the beloved Savannah Jazz Orchestra.

The festival is also closely connected to Savannah’s jazz heritage, celebrating local legends like Johnny Mercer, Ben Tucker, James Moody, and Teddy Adams—many of whom are enshrined in the Savannah Jazz Hall of Fame.
