The Haunted Reputation of Olde Harbour Inn

Olde Harbour Inn is one of the many rumored haunted hotels in Savannah, and home to “Hank,” the most frequently encountered spirit at the Inn.

Cigar smoke and dropped coins

Guests have reported the scent of cigar smoke when no smoker was present, objects moving on their own, coins dropping to the floor, and other spirited shenanigans. While there’s no evidence anyone perished in the building’s early fires, legend says “Hank” is the ghost of a worker who died in one of the blazes. With no name to attach to the tale, the Inn’s staff simply began calling their ghostly prankster “Hank.”
