Savannah is a wonderfully dog-friendly city, with almost endless opportunities for you and your dog to explore together. Here are a few of our favorite ways to enjoy the city as a pair.
Savannah’s gorgeous green spaces and our love of dogs are a winning combination. Ask the concierge for the latest pet-friendly restaurants with outdoor seating.
Most walking tours here are pet-friendly. We recommend Kelly Tours for a trolley ride, or Oliver Bentley’s Historic Dog Walk Tour for the most dog-friendly experience.
With 22 parks and squares, the historic district is a joy to wander. There are even nose-level doggie water fountains, two in Forsyth Park, one in Troup Square, and one in Ellis Square.
Dogs are welcome for a fee of $75 per night, with a maximum of two pets, on stays of one to four nights. Reservations of five nights or more are charged a flat pet fee of $150 for the entire stay. Animals are not permitted in the dining space or in most common areas of the property.
